SCBT and Williams-Brice Stadium Celebrate 75 years
September 25, 2009

COLUMBIA, SC - SCBT distributed foam hands in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of South Carolina Bank and Trust and Williams-Brice Stadium.
The hands were specially designed in the shape of the "USC Spur", which is a symbol that students use to show support of the team during the football games.
"We believe in South Carolina and in the Gamecocks," said John Windley, president, SCBT. "SCBT and William-Brice both opened their doors in 1934, and we thought this was a perfect way to celebrate our shared 75th Anniversary."
Volunteers from SCBT and from the University placed the foam hands around the stadium Thursday morning prior to the start of the football game.
